The football team of Lokomotiv is based on the team of DMZ "Nikola Vaptsarov" and during the spring part of the season it continues its participation in the group as the representative team of the new FD. - On 1 July 1964 BFF announces a decision that as of 1964/65 all ZFG are to be composed of 14 teams each. As a result Hristo Karpachev (Slatina) avoids relegation and an additional team is promoted from the okrazhni grupi.
