Notes
- As of this season the number of teams in the yunosheski zonovi grupi is increased from 8 to 10 per group. A second Sofiyska YuZG is also created.
- As of this season the number of teams, participating in the Republikansko parvenstvo is increased from 16 to 32 teams. Due to this Varnenska YuZG receives an additional, third, spot in the parvenstvo.
- On 23 February 1964 in Varna is created FD Lokomotiv, which encompasses the sports teams of the workers in transportation, commerce, administration, utilities services and small-scale factories. FD Septemvri, which up to this moment exists with the same scope, is disbanded. Septemvri's representative team, which up to that point participates in the group, continues its participation as the representative team of Lokomotiv.
