Notes
- On 9 October 1963 CDNA (Sofia) and FD Cherveno zname (Sofia) merge into a single FD, built on organizational and territorial basis, named CSKA Cherveno zname. The organization encompasses the military personnel as well as the territory of I Leninski rayon of the city (the Southeastern part of Sofia), which before the merger is within the scope of FD Cherveno zname. Following the merger Cherveno zname is removed from the group, its results still count, and its opponents until the winter break are awarded 3:0 wins. Following the winter break its opponents bye. Cherveno zname's goal difference is unknown.
- As of this season the number of teams in the yunosheski zonovi grupi is increased from 8 to 10 per group. Sofiyska YuZG is expanded from 10 to 12 teams and a second Sofiyska YuZG is also created.
- As of this season the number of teams, participating in the Republikansko parvenstvo is increased from 16 to 32 teams. Due to this Sofiyska YuZG receives three additional, fourth, fifth and sixth, spots in the parvenstvo. Four of those places are given to parva podgrupa, and 2 - to vtora podgrupa.
