Notes
- As of this season the number of teams in the yunosheski zonovi grupi is increased from 8 to 10 per group. A second Sofiyska YuZG is also created.
- As of this season the number of teams, participating in the Republikansko parvenstvo is increased from 16 to 32 teams. Due to this Burgaska YuZG receives two additional, second and third, spots in the parvenstvo.
- On 1 March 1964 General Zaimov (Sliven) is renamed to Mlada gvardia.
