Balkan (Gabrovo) 30 4 13 13 23:51 21Notes - After deliberation on 6 July 1962 and meeting with the A RFG and B RFG teams on 16 July (a day after the end of the season in A and B RFG), on 19 July 1962 it is announced that the football pyramid would undergo changes as of next season. A RFG is expanded from 14 to 16 teams, due to which the teams, placed 13th and 14th don't relegate directly to B RFG, but instead participate in a qualifying tournament with the teams, placed 3rd and 4th in B RFG for two places in A RFG. B RFG is divided into two subgroups - severna and yuzhna - of 18 teams each, due to which there are no relegated teams from B RFG, while not only the winners from the six Zonovi futbolni grupi get promoted to B RFG, but also the 2nd and 3rd placed teams from each ZFG, as well as 4 more teams (2 from Northern Bulgaria and 2 from Southern Bulgaria) determined at the discretion of the TsS na BSFS bureau. top
